These beautiful blooms are grown mostly for cutting and display purposes. Pretty much all of them have been started from seed, bulbs, tubers, and bare roots, with the exception of just a very few bought as matured plants. They are grown in containers, large pots, crates, raised beds, and in-ground. I grow a lot of tulips, daffodils, dahlias, amaryllis, peonies, and roses. There's also Ranunculus, Anemones, Hyacinths, Snapdragons, Alliums, Eucalyptus, Hellebores, and the list goes on. Here's a glimpse of my planting calendar: January-March: Snapdragons (Antirrhinum) March - May: Dahlias September - November: Daffodils, tulips, hyacinths, alliums. I sow seeds throughout the year and try to take cuttings and propagate when I can. For very special reasons, my peonies and roses are planted at a very particular time. Peonies around the 3rd week of May, and for most of my roses, bare-roots are planted around the 3rd week of December, and I buy potted roses for the 5th of August.
